What made you want to become a Cabinet Maker?

I’ve always wanted to work with my hands and create, later I got into furniture, its history, materials, styles, I found it fascinating and challenging both manually and intellectually. Its endless, there are so many ways to make furniture!

What 5 words describe Silverlining?

Team work, know-how, pushing boundaries, adaptable, luxury.

What made you choose SL as a company to work for?

Their approach to cabinet making. it seemed clear from the start that they were very open minded about what cabinet making is, and what it takes to evolve with the luxurious taste of the clients. I find that very interesting and challenging.

What’s the best thing about your job?

It is never monotonous, also I am surrounded by an amazing team of skilled workers with an open mind that share their knowledge and help me progress every day.

How did you become a Furniture Finisher?

I started my career as an antiques restorer and found I really enjoyed the finishing of each piece the most. I have been working with furniture now for 11 years and still really enjoy it.

 

What made you choose SL as a company to work for?

I was aware of Silverlining when I was at college, then having worked as a furniture maker I was keen to join the team.

 

What’s the best thing about your job?

Finishing bespoke and unique furniture for yachts and private residences. The best thing is definitely the problem solving. Trying to find the exact colour or finish that’s perfect for each piece of furniture.

Challenging, unique, passionate, quality, driven
