When designing a dining chair, we consider aesthetics ergonomics and comfort. A dining chair is very personal, like having made to measure clothing made. Our designers consider the height, width and depth of the seat, arm height as well as the angle of the seat and back together with lumbar support and softness or firmness of upholstery. 

A chair also needs to be structurally robust withstanding uneven weight distribution, lifting and movement over time. That’s why for structural, ergonomic and comfort reasons we always make a prototype to test strength and to assess the enjoyment of sitting.
