In creating a sculptural and tactile hallway bench, we aimed to bring the tranquility of our client's favorite Irish beach to their home, offering a moment of calm amidst the chaos of daily life.

The concept of creating a humble pebble resonated with us and our second-generation client  – an unpretentious expression of nature, yet perfect in its meaning, evoking patience, and the gentle passing of time.

The technique of laminating the English elm wood bench provides structural strength and mimics the layering found in pebbles, caused by layers of sediment that accumulated over time.
