The design is so named as it references the stars in the galaxy of Andromeda. The sample is created using over 67,000 individual Dubai gold dots etched into a background of dyed amboyna burr wood.
Inspired by a moonless summer night when billions of stars crowd the view due to the earth’s sky facing the galaxy, the sample’s central focus is a semi–precious stone and 23–carat champagne gold ring representing the bright light from the density of stars at the galaxy’s central nucleus.
Materials – Dyed amboyna burr, figured walnut, Dubai gold metallised resin, champagne gold plate, red tigers eye stone and white quartz.
