Silverlining’s limited edition collections reflect the studio’s creative direction and craftsmanship at its most expressive. Designed and made entirely in house, these pieces are conceived not as client commissions but as independent works that reveal the aesthetic and technical mastery of our team.
Each collection presents an opportunity to explore new ideas in form, material and technique. It is a space where innovation meets tradition, where conceptual thinking is grounded in rigorous execution, and where our most ambitious processes are brought to life. These are not experiments or abstract statements but resolved works of furniture that challenge conventions while remaining true to our standards of beauty, precision and function.
The collections are a chance to articulate ideas that could not exist within the boundaries of a brief, and to shape objects that speak for themselves. Through them, we engage with collectors, galleries and curators around the world who share our belief in the enduring value of design that is both imaginative and exacting.
Through these editions, Silverlining offers a rare window into the design language of the studio. They allow us to share our perspective with a wider audience and to showcase the advanced techniques we have developed over decades of bespoke making, not in prototypes or test pieces but in real, functional furniture of the highest standard.
From layered leather to hand textured timber, from experimental pigments to traditional joinery pushed to its limits, each edition draws on the full range of skills and innovations cultivated in our studio and workshop. By bringing these elements together, the collections form a permanent, evolving expression of who we are as a design house and of how we continue to shape the future of contemporary furniture.

Our first edition, Layers in Time, will be unveiled in London in autumn 2025. Future editions will be presented annually. The full Layers in Time collection will be revealed in September 2025.
