Monarch Migration

Nature’s sense of theatre is awe-inspiring when observing the 2,500-mile migration of millions of Monarch butterflies from their summer breeding grounds to their winter getaway in South-West Mexico.

Butterfly cabinet 2

Drinks cabinet wrapped in Dakota coach-hide leather and embossed with butterfly pattern that mimics the cabinet internals.

Upon opening the doors, the user is greeted by the vivid butterfly marquetry back panel of the upper cabinet in burr amboyna, burr walnut and American black walnut with sand-shading and airbrushed details and mother-of-pearl embellishments.

The patterns of butterflies’ wings have been meticulously recreated in burr amboyna and walnut curl wood marquetry, with a light-reflecting addition of white mother-of-pearl on the butterflies' wings. The design was then sealed with a high gloss lacquer.
