Constructivist art denounced decoration and ornament, and was a voice of austerity, reflecting modern society and its urban habitat. The simple shapes and compositions were far from minimal though – they were dynamic, bold, and vibrant.
The design has been applied to several futuristic, statement pieces for our clients, including an executive desk and a bar area designed for late-night entertaining.
The aesthetic values of constructivism have been translated into the Monochromatic Glow finish, with its materials – soft fir wood and smart Fenix®, portraying the dual nature of today’s craftsmanship – that of honouring ancient hand-skills whilst embracing technological advancements.
