One of the star attractions of this year’s Monaco Yacht Show was Nobiskrug’s 80-metre Artefact. From her radical window shapes and composite superstructure to the hybrid diesel-electric propulsion and dazzling interior by Reymond Langton, she is a yacht that breaks the mould.
Reymond Langton approached Silverlining in the UK to make three bespoke pieces of furniture for the main deck: the dining table, a games table and a credenza. Collectively, they took thousands of man-hours to create and highlight the company’s extraordinary craftsmanship. Jim Birch, Silverlining’s head of design, talks us through the ideas, materials and techniques used to make them.
