Antelope Canyon
'Antelope Canyon' is inspired by the natural wonder found in America. Changing striations of leather colours and thicknesses are exploited through stack laminating and carving.
The result is an extraordinary visual exploiting the properties of the thickness of the leather rather than the usual polished surface.
The shingles clad many forms very well adding subtle layers to a clean monolithic object.
Materials: English walnut and vegetable tan leather.
Finish: Open grain lacquer.
