Hieroglyphic Serpent - Dark
Multiple marquetry layers of dyed veneers are pierced using CNC technology to create a pattern inspired by the various shapes and sizes of the scutes or scales found in snake skins.
The design is utilized on pairs of doors for sideboard cabinet. The texture falls close to the door breaks where someone's hand pushes to open and access the storage.
Materials: Birds eye maple top veneer, 6 further layers of dyed veneer.
