Inspired by water falling over layered rock formations the stepped pattern changes subtly in scale creating a soft textured surface.
The wood species are oxidised white allowing the shadows to create the depth and emphasise the layered design, the natural rays and figure in the different grains shimmer crating a subtle movement in the pattern.
The shingles clad many forms very well adding subtle layers to a clean monolithic object.
